Waiouru Darts

Waiouru RSA Dart Club played Foxton RSA Dart Club Sunday 19 March. Sunday morning saw a lot of tired players from the Foxton and Waiouru clubs assemble to play for the biannual trophy having all been well entertained the evening before at the Waiouru RSA. Some entertaining games were played with the highlight being Brian scoring his fourth 1 80 for this year.

A great day was enjoyed by all with Foxton retaining the trophy. The dart club would like to extend its grateful appreciation to; Route 66, Vege Mart, Collective Thinking, Threads, Desert Inn and Waiouru Motors for their generous donations of raffle prizes. Tuesday 21 March. A small group gathered to play singles, double start, double finish. The evening was interrupted by a committee meeting, but still ran smoothly under Sue's eagle eye. The highlight of the evening was when Mai Scored his first 180 for this year. Winners for the evening were: overall winner was Brian (after a playoff with Luana). High start ladies Sue 120. High start men Mai 80. High score ladies Luana 117. High score men Brian 140. High finish ladies Josie 34. High finish men Mai 78. The wooden spoon was not presented.
