Chartered club shoot on tarqet

The annual Chartered club shoot, was pretty much on target weather wise, for this year's competition. Raetihi Cosmopilitan club played hosts, as usual, with competitors coming from Levin, T aumarunui, Taupo and Palmerston North. Local boys'featured in the 1 5 targets D.T.L. trophy (sponsored by D.B.) with Trevor Fredrickson Raetihi 2nd, and Jim Dobson also Raetihi 4th in the Lumley single rise championship. The 20 targets 5-man team event was won by Ohakune, with Levin 2nd and Taupo 3rd. Presentations followed the day ' s

event back at the club rooms and the results are as follows: 15 targets D.T.L. D.B. Trophy; 1st K Bennett Taumarunui; 2nd T Fredrickson Raetihi; 3rd B Goss Levin; 4th G Griffen; 5th B Taylor; 6th S Redmayne. 25 targets Lumley singles rise championship: 1st S Pullan Taupo; 2nd B Berguson Palmerston North; 3rd B Goss Levin; 4th J Dobson Raetihi; 5th D Ryder Levin. 20 targets 5 man team: 1 st Ohakune; 2nd Levin; 3rd Lowest scoring team Taupo. Low gun: P Gardener Taupo. High gun S Pullan Taupo. Raffles: Amiria Teki bottle rum; Barbara Dobson bottle whiskey.
