Wheels dollars to add to carnival fun

Mainstreet, Ohakune Retailers & Ohakune Primary School & PTA are just some of the community groups getting behind Ohakune' s big event 'Carnival of Wheels'. At a meeting last week Ohakune retailers pledged their support by combining the usual stock taking

saies of March into the 'Carnival of Wheels March Madness Shopping Spree'. Carnival shopping dollars can be clipped from this edition of the Ruapehu Bulletin, to be spent in selected Ohakune Retail stores between Monday 20 and Sunday 26 March - — 'Carnival Week' . in next week' s Ruapehu Bulletin. Shoppers will be able to purchase great bargains for just a few dollars or receive generous discounts, said aretailers' spokesperson. In addition retailers will be offering bargain bins, extra value purchases, spot prizes and be supporting the Ohakune Primary School PTA's gala on Saturday 25 March at the

carnival site with market day specials. Window displays and in-shop competitions will reflect the 'wheels' theme of the carnival. Groups and interested individuals in the community are invited to take along products and produce for sale on the day.
