Waiouru roads
Good progress has been made of extensive road repairs in the civilian area of Waiouru, reports the Ruapehu District Council. The damage was caused by the increase in heavy traffic utilising the three refuelling stations over recent years. The work was completed on 17 February apart from cleaning up the area, reported the council.
