Army band to lead grand parade
The highlight of the 1995 A&P show will be the army ceremony starting at 12 noon, granting the freedom of the district. The army band will give a display at the conclusion and will lead the grand parade. Horse entries are coming in well, this year's programme caters for the less experienced riders with a training day for showjumpers as well as having the open ring. Some well performed horses and ponies have entered the flat classes so competition will be good. Home brew and winemakers are urged to enter the competition this year in the produce shed. Flower and vegetable entries should be good with a good growing season. Shardul the clown is at the show all day with entertainment for the children. Shardul is a professional clown and his performances
are excellent. Shardul will perform on stilts and give a magic show at 2pm especially for the kids. Children's events abound in the programme, and
include horse events, horticultural section competitions and home industry entries. Of course no Show Day would be complete without the Children's Pet
Parade which includes the cup for the best pet lamb. T.B. has affected the cattle entries but we still have sufficient entries to hold classes and they will be worth a visit.
