The Charter of 4th Logistic regiment
FROMPAGE 7 COUNCIL being sensible in the honourable record and traditions of the 4th LOGISTIC REGIMENT and being desirous of recognising, cementing and fostering the intimate association which is now and has for so long been enjoyed between the District and the Regiment in which so many
of its citizens have been pfoud to serve. NOW THEREFORE the RUAPEHU DISTRICT COUNCIL does hereby confer upon the said 4th LOGISTIC REGIMENT the right and privilege without further permission being obtained of marching with drums beating, band playing, Colours flying, bayonets fixed, and swords drawn, through the
streets of the towns of the RUAPEHU DISTRICT. AND DOES HEREBY accept the honour of viewing the 4th LOGISTIC REGIMENT or part thereof, from time to time for the purpose of an inspection by His Worship the Mayor. AND DOES HEREBY accept tlhe further honour of having an
officer of the Said Regiment in uniform in attendance upon His
Worship the Mayor on important official occasions.
