Ohakune to host long serving firemen
Ohakune is to host a gathering of 'Gold Star' longserving fire fighters next March. The Ohakune Fire Brigade, which is in the unique position of having four gold-star fire fighters who are still serving, has sent out invitations to 600 others around their
region which covers the North Island from a line from Gisborne across to Taranaki, down to Wellington.
