Waimarino Golf
There was another good turnout last Thursday for twilight golf. In the non golfers Ricky Araitanga was first 23 pts. Dwayne Marsh 2nd 21 pts, Robert Speers 3rd 19 pts, 4th Brian Hays 17 pts. Some good golf played by the ladies 1st equal Pat MclLroy and Victoria Johns 23 pts, 2nd equal Alison Barrett and Jan Mathews on 19 pts. In the junior men an excellent score of 26 pts saw Craig Dolman win this group with Daniel Munn 2nd 23 pts followed by Deevon Gray, Joe Taoa, Roger Bransgrove, J Morris and D. Schwerike on 22. In the seniors Wayne Marsh and James Renata were first equal on 22 Dts, 2nd equal were Barry Drinkwater, Pat Goldfinch and Gary Creedy. There was one two David Herewini. Lucky number draw was won by H. Geraghty. Congratulations went to Andrew Murdie and Victoria Johns for their excellent performances at the T aihape Christmas Cheer on Sunday.
