Mowing contractors for Ruapehu District Council lawns in Ohakune and Raetihi, and also Taumarunui, have been having difficulties meeting the specified standards this month, the council reports. The ground conditions in some areas are so bad that mowing has been delayed to avoid damage from mowers, he said.
