Bowls
A team of bowlers travelled to Turangi Labour weekend Sunday to represent the combined clubs of W aimarino and Ohakune at the Tongariro Chartered Club' s Jubilee Competition. The local team comprised of skip, Robin Scarrow; 3rd, Laurie Birchall; 2nd, Des Evans with Ngaire Burrow as head. A successful day was had with local team winning the competition with Taupo second and Turangi third.
