Pony Club
Fine weather helped to make the Waimarino Pony Club's dressage and gamblers waterways events a great success last weekend. Forty competitors took part in the dressage competition on Saturday where the three W aimarino Pony Club age group champions weredecided: Jnr, 12yrs & under, Claire Hyland riding Wise Guy; Int, 13 - 15yrs, Kushla Edgarton on Bolero; Snr, 16-20 yrs, Victoria Duigan, Chamahl. The Waimarino Riding Club donated a trophy to be presented to a member of the riding club gaining the highest percentage marks of any test on the day, this time won by Adrienne Maru - High Time. Results: Dressage. Class 1 12 yrs & under: 1st Claire Hyland - Wise Guy; 2nd Natasha Richardson - Fernando; 3rd=, Mathew West Accolyte, Honi Brausch SakaSon.
