Locals ski race
The final of the DB/ Rossignol Local's Race Series took place recently at Whakapapa. This is the first year that this annual Local's Race Series has been held. The series was to consist of flve races but unfortunately due to poor weather conditions the first three races were cancelled. With a 4-metre base and fresh packed powder the racers enjoyed this team event. Results: Last race winner; Roger Wyrsch, Steve McGill, Jo Davis. Overall series winners: Patrick Ogris, Paul Steiglbauer, Scoota Sisson.
