College concert

Ruapehu College Multiple Studies students are bringing the popular rap band 3 Hard Way to Ohakune onWednesday 19 October. The band and special guests will play at the Ruapehu College school hall doors' opening at 7pm. 3 Hard Way are from West Auckland and their singles 'Hip Hop Holiday' and 'Many Rivers' recently went to the top 1 0. The concert is part of a national tour to promote their new album 'Old Skool Pranksters'. Local music promoter Paul Stieglbauer has been working with the MSP students teaching them how to organise and promote concerts. The concert is being held as a fundraiser for the MSP trip to Wellington at the end of the term. Cost is $5 with door prizes sponsored by Kuta Line Clothing, Festival records and Tyrolia Ski Products. Thanks also to Wicked Edge Promotions, Ski FM and the Ohakune Hotel for their generous support.
