Snowboarder arrested out of ski bounds
A 21 year old man was arrested at Turoa Ski Resort on
Thursday 6 October and transferred to Ohakune Po-
lice Station to face a charge of criminal nuisance. The snow boarder was charged for ignofing ^
warning signs posted on the ski field and
entering the area restricted to skiers.
He was also charged with fraud *
after further enquiries re-
vealed he was using the
littraciiities witnout a pass. ^
