Telemark Thursday
Whakapapa will host a T elemark Ski Race on Thursday. Entry is open to all for serious fun or serious competition. There are spot prizes for all entrants contributed by Ossies, Whakapapa Ski Fields and Whakapapa Tavern. Major prizes include a pair of TUA Telemark skis. A barbeque will be held at the end of racing. Telemarking is seeing a re-kindling of interest and according to Henry of Ossies is almost as big as snowboarding in the South Island. So dust of those tele' skis in the closet and join in the fun. For further information contact Ossies on (06) 3858 088.
