Saturday saw a pretty sparse turn-out due to the teams in T aumarunui for the King Country Champs. The results from the medal competition were: Graige Rudolph, nett 72, Chris George, nett 71 and the winner with a nett 70, Ian Bateman. Only one two was carded, by M MacGibbon on 15. Next weekend is the Adam and Eve qualifying. Non-golfers, leamers, hackers are welcome - if there are enough a nine hole competition will be run. Twilight starts on Tuesday 1 1 October. Tee times are from 4.30pm until 5.15pm. Make up three's if the starter is asleep and play the front nine.
