Festival night

The Country Fair Day at Raetihi on Saturday finished with a social evening at the Waimarino Club, with the band Anatar and the City Music Group, both from Wanganui, entertaining. Those who attended had a very enjoyable night and danced away the time to the relaxing music. It was disappointing to the organising group that only a small crowd turned up. Local identities were invited by the band to join them and present items that were well received by the audience who also joined in. The evening held a high note for Gavin Brown and GMC as they were picked as winners from the draw.
