Waiouru welcome signs
"Waiouru Welcomes you to the Desert, Altitude 800 metres" is to be the wording on new welcome signs for the army town. The Waiouru Community Boarddebated the issue again Tuesday last week, with many suggestions put forward. The successful wording was finally passed on a three-two vote split.
