Burglary arrest
A Wellington man was arrested and charged with attempted burglary following break-ins overnight Sunday at the Ohakune Photo Pharmacy (See photograph) and Doctor Perera' s surgery. Nothing was taken in the burglaries, but substantial damage was inflicted in the attempt.
The pharmacy roof was smashed, and several holes smashed in the back wall. The toilet bowl was completely smashed from the outside, (hole at left of photo).
