Summer skiing any one?
Whakapapa plan to end the winter season on 13 November, re-opening the following day for the summer season. Facilities in operation for summer skiing will be the Centennial and Waterfall express chair lifts. Snow conditions permitting one or two of the T-bars will also operate for skiing. Crater Lake tours will run daily depending on weather conditions. It's expected three staff will be employed as guides to show the public the amazing features of the high altitude plateau.
