All but one of the finalists for the club championship were found on Sunday. The club champs will be decided between seniors, last year's champion James Ennis and Trevor Fredrick; junior intermediates Andrew Condon and one to be decided; and juniors Graham Lind and Richard Mabbott. Sunday' s field saw some excellent scoring in the juniors and seniors competition.Trevor Fredrick Senior took out the iunior meat pack with an excellent 45 points followed
by Joe Taoa on 42 points, Hugh Geraghty 41 points, John Purcell on 40 points. Ken Crossan won the junior bird's nest and scored the ony two of the day. In the seniors, two players who have been struggling for form of late came back strongly — Wayne Marshshootinga75 to score 42 points and winning the senior meat pack, with Don Windle 2nd on 4 1 points. In 3rd position was Grant Fountain on 40 points. The 36-hole tournament that was to be held on Saturday 17 has been moved to Sunday 18 to suit more members and other clubs. The lucky number this week for $185 was No 56 Bruce Cranston who unfortunately was not present.
