Junior squash
Six juniors travelled to Dannevirke on Sunday to compete in a central districts' tournament for junior squash players. Brad Hays, Warren Hyslop, Kirsty Litt, Angela Fraser, Robert Fraser and Rheece Morrisey all performed well in what was Ohakune' s first representation in such a tournament. Warren was unbeaten in his three games; Reece had two wins whilc Angela and Kirsty both had one win each. Fifty juniors took part, all having three 15 minute games. The Ohakune Squash Club will be hosting a similar tournament for central districts juniors on Sunday 16 October.
