Turoa car wreckers

• In relation to the article in the Dominion 12 August regarding the proposed fun park for snowboarders at Turoa: The heading of imaginative thinking makes one think 'who has decided this one'. The parking of huge tyres and partially buried cars on the ski slopes so a few can use these as jumps - is there not enough rocks or bluffs to get their air? Please tell us what other world class field has got old car bodies over it, after all it is a national park. No matter how many conditions there are for the removal after the season of these articles, the general public should not have to put up with that eyesore even for a few months of the season. Turoa, wake up! I only hope that DoC puts a stop to this going ahead. If not, I will be enjoying the extra 45 minutes drive to Whakapapa.
