Badminton
The Ohakune Badminton Club's A Reserves and C Grade played inter-club against Wanganui in Waiouru on Sunday. A Reserves results: Ohakune 1 beat Masters 1, 6-2; Ohakune 1 beat Masters 2, 7-1; Ohakune 2 lost to Masters 1 , 2-6; Ohakune 2 beat Masters 2, 5-3. C Grade results: Ohakune beat Juniors 7-1 . The Juniors were a player short so Sarah Lind filled in for the W anganui team. The next round of interclub is 21 August for all grades, in Waiouru. This Sunday there is no badminton for the Juniors. There are all going to Wanganui for the Under12's Junior residentials. Anyone who normally goes to badminton on a Sunday night can ring Mrs Cranston, 385 8581.
