Radio future up in the air
Ruapehu's radio wars look set to heat up with an application for an injunction to stop Ski Fm from broadcasting due to be heard on Friday. The Bulletin understands rival station Peak Fm' s director Ron Jeffares applied for an injunction last Friday. Mr Jeffares told the Bulletin he did not want to com-
ment at this stage. He said negotiations were continuing. Earlier, the two stations had signed an agreement to merge, broadcasting from Peak Fm's base in Ohakune. But the agreement lapsed due to certain conditions not being able to be met, according to Ski Fm' s director Dave Campbell.
