Results of a doubles night held on 4 July: Winners were Stephen Wallace and Andrea Bennett. Runners up were Rosalind Foster and Lois Penning. The highest start of 105 went to Kathryn Most. The highest score of 140 went to Lois Penning and Andrea Bennet. Lois took the money. The highest finish on 58 went to Stephen Wallace. On the weekend of 2-3 July, the club travelled to Wanganui to play the Wanganui Cosmopolitan Club and the Wanganui RSA. Although they enjoyed themselves, the results were not good for the local team, losing to the WCC 23- 1 6 and to the RSA 43-23.
