Traffic ideas opinion divided
Solutions to Ohakune' s down-town traffic problem is to be the subject of a meeting on 25 July. Two options have already been considered, but while they found favour with different groups, both
also had critics. Ohakune retailers recently met and resolved that "no actionbe taken on parking and traffic flows in Ohakune until full consultation is reached between all those parties involved",
according to a Winning Waimarino (Mainstreet group) meeting. The meeting is to be held at the council service centre in Miro Street, Ohakune, starting at 7.30pm.
