Community service for assault
Jason Thomas Reeve, 22, of Raetihi, pleaded guilty to a charge of assaulting Raymond Woodhouse while complainant was sitting in his car outside the Raetihi Primary School on 9 June. Complainant sustained a broken nose and lost two teeth in the attack for which Reeve has since apologised. Defendant was convicted and sentenced to 60 hours community service and ordered to make a reparation payment of $200 to complainant.
