Spring Festival 1994 in pipeline
Plans are underway to hold a Waimarino Spring Festival from 24 September- 2 October. Co-ordinated by Winning Waimarino, activitiesrunduringthismajorwinterevent will be shared between Raetihi, Ohakune and Turoa Skifield.
Events already planned include Country Fair Auction Market Day, the Spring Show, fashion parade, Tuesday Night at Turoa, Mardi Gras, Ohakune Hotel Festival, casino night, wine tastirigs, "Twilight Madness", craft display and King' s Court Spring Ball.
