Turoa and Doppelmayr staff swing quadruple chairs into place from under the NZ Rail Squirrel helicopter, ready for hanging on the new quad chairlift, Wednesday 22 June. The lift was up and ready to run by Saturday 25 June complete with skiable snow cover. All that was needed was decent weather which finally arrived 29 June.
