Whakapapa' s ski school has dropped its prices for group ski lessons for the 1994 ski season. A one and a half hour lesson that would have cost skiers $26 last season has been reduped to $20, regardless of the level of skier. Another incentive to learn

is their 'Buy 5 ForThePrice Of 4' offer that can be taken anytime during the 1994 season. Lessons are held for beginners, intermediate and advanced skiers at Happy Valley, Hut Flat and Knoll Ridge respectively. Prospective skiers are advised

that there is no need to book to reserve a place in the classes. Another exciting new concept this year is Whakapapa' s 'Ski Bonanza. 'The programme is designed to give skiers more mid-week flexibility, with three packages on offer. Bonanza One offer s a four-day programme (Mon-day-Thursday) of morning and afternoon ski lessons, totalling three hours daily. Bonanzas Two and Three are both two day programmes held MondayT uesday and Thursday-Fri-day. Participants may opt for the complete package that includes lessons, ski rental and lift passes, at a saving of around 20% on the cost of paying for each item separately. Other options include a lesson and lift package, or that of the lesson only.
