Raetihi Garden Club
The Raetihi Garden Club travelled to award winning gardens for their April meeting. Enthusiastic gardeners packed a picnic lunch and headed down the Ruatiti V alley . 1 st stop was Lynley & Neil Grahams garden which gained 1st place in the Town & Country Competition. A leisurely stroll around the Grahams garden in perfect Autumn sunshine was followed by a trip down the Makakahi Valley to Catherine Brown' s who gained 4th place in the Town & Country Awards. After a guided ramble around Catherine' s
garden and orchard the ladies took time out for a very informal lunch. Catherine gave a very informati ve dialogue on her visit to a Hawkes Bay tree seminar.
The ladies then headed out of the valley to meet up at Margo Webb's immaculately kept gardens which gained 2nd place in the Town & Country awards.
