Quake
A mild earthquake was felt in the Waimarino last Tuesday at 1.46pm. Its epicentre was 40.5° south, 175.4° east (just south of Palmerston North) at a depth of 82km and magnitude of 4.7. In the Waimarino it was felt as a slight swaying motion lasting 3-4 seconds.
