Ski radio plans return

Ruapehu' s ski radio station is preparing its 12th winter of broadcasting around the mountain. "Thanks to the generous support and overwhelming response to SKI-FM we will be back broadcasting for the 1994 ski season." said station manager Mark Thomson. He said they will start their broadcast on 9 July, broadcasting from studios in Clyde Street, Ohakune on 94.4FM at Whakapapa and 96.6FM on the Turoa side of the

mountain. "Although there have been a few name changes, many different faces and some interesting set ups this will be SKI-FM's 12th year of broadcast," said Mark. "If you want to find out more you can visit some of the SKI-FM staff on their stand at this year's Auckland Snow Show which is being held this Friday , Saturday and Sunday at the Ellerslie Racecourse."
