Acomadating varient spillings?

On route through Ohakune, the would-be Mecca for tourists, I was amazed to see a number of well painted signs with 'doubtful' standards of accommodation. After all, if one cannot advertise the services correctly, who is to say what the service is like. The YHA colourful sign and High Country Cabins both offer accommodation with one 'm'. The all-time low is offered in a for sale sign (well sign written) almost opposite the Bulletin offices on a tourist complex - accomidation. i do not need to visit other parts of Ohakune, but I dread to think how many more signs are incorrectly prepared. Do pay attention to notices and signs, children tend to copy what they see before them.

Owen.

Editor's Note: Yes, we've spotted them too and reported the offences not long after the worst appeared, but still nothing has been done to rectify the situation. Perhaps 'm's are expensive! If that's an excuse, commas must be free, for the Hobbit's banner reads "Casuafs welcome, dining at ifs best".
