Whose job?
Not 1 1 l's, they wouldn't do it. They told me to contact the Council, but they wouldn' t do it - they passed the buck. The power board were not available to do it and night was closing quickly. The old saying is very true when one needs help and can't get it. This is the story about four people named Everybody, Somebody, Anybody and Nobody. There was an important job to be done and Everybody was asked to do it. Anybody could have done it but Sfobody would do it. Somebody got angry about that because it was Everybody's job. Everybody thought Anybody could do it. Nobody realised that Everybody wouldn't do it. It ended up that Everybody blamed Somebody when Nobody did what Anybody could have done. Thanks must go the five men of the Ohakune Volunteer Fire Brigade for stepping in and exercising the rescue just on dusk. At least we stlll have some men who will do a job without fuss.
