Both the Waiouru Bobcats Reserves and Premiere league teams had exhiliarating games on Saturday against an astounded Castlecliff Seagulls. The Reserves' 38-22 win and the 34-26 win to the Premiere team were a great boost for the club. The Reserves players of the day were Marcus Pompey and Lee-jae McLean. Both men showed exceptional all-round skill and both contributed a try each to the winning scores. Others to contribute were Joe Ranga (one try), Marcus Grey (two tries) and Damon White (two tries.) The kicker for the Reserves was Damon Mitchell who kicked six. Players of the dav for

the Premieres were Scott Leevey and Raff Pereira. Once again the performance by these players, indicates the high skill level that the league members have to offer. Raff contributed two tries; the other tries came from Wayne Tawhai who opened the score, and Duane Fife who scored an excellent hat trick. Kicking for the Premieres was Mike Ballie who, even with an injured knee, kicked five goals.
