New Raetihi business

A new Raetihi business that is proving popular with the younger set is The Video Shop (yes, the same name as its counterpart located in Ohakune .) The business is currently open seven days from 1 2-8pm and run by Raetihi resident Gavin Knight (pictured.) Proprietors Karl and Maureen Christensen intend extending trading hours during the winter to ea ter for increased trade. As well as carrying an extensive range of videos including the latest new releases , the shop also stocks a range of Nintendo game cartridges and machine hire. At the rear of the shop a variety of 'spacies' and the odd pinball game lurks. If a particular video is unavailable at their Raetihi outlet, the couple pledge to do their best to obtain it, either from their Ohakune shop or elsewhere.
