Pipiriki, Foyle tenders called
Tenders are about to be called for repairs to one of the sand filters at the Pipiriki Sewage Treatment Plant. The work involves replacing the underdrain pipes, the wall lining and the filter media. Foyle Street, Ohakune, is to have kerb and channel constructed on both sides of the road, and the road carriageway shape corrected at the same time. A culveft is to be replaced and minor alignment works carried out 1 1.5km down Raetihi- Ohura Road. The Ruapehu District Council expects the works to be finished by the end of June.
