Lotto money for museum
Lottery grants totalling $300,000 have been made to the Queen Elizabeth II Army Memorial Museum in Waiouru. The Lottery Grants Board' s Environment and Heritage Committee has given the museum $250,000 towards the cost of the Kippenberger Pavilion which is presently under construction. A further grant of $50,000 will allow the museum to buy a replacement computer system to assist in the ongoing management of its more than 250,000 artefacts.
