Pony Club news
The Waimarino Pony Club's one day event incorporating the King Country Area Trial was held on 20 March at Roke's property in wet and cold conditions. ' Sixty-two competitors took part in the day's competition with numbers down on previous years. Results Class 1 Introductory: Dressage, 1st, N Richardson (riding Fernado); Overall, 1 st, V Morris (Fidget), 2nd, N Smith (Sgt Major), 3rd, B McGregor (Tamsin), 4th, D Homersham (Tiffany); Adults - Dressage, 1 st, H Lilburn (Carrisbrooke); Overall, 1st H Lilburn (Carrisbrooke). Class 2 Pre Training: Dressage, 1st, K Edgarton (Bolero); Overall, 1st, A Garland (Saffron Sky), 2nd, B Fannin (Rob Roy), 3rd, N Martin (Mandella), 4th, B Plowman (Little Lucifer); Adults - Dressage, 1 st, S Ripo (Simply Red); Overall, 1st, G HiH (Definate Dee). Class 3 Training: Dressage, 1st, S Gotlieb (Ascot); Overall, 1 st, H Lord (Creme Cracker), 2nd, C Morrison (The Gambler), 3rd, C Tarrant (Simba), 4th, S Gotlieb (Ascot); Adult - Dressage, 1st, E Cooper (Jade); Overall, 1st, E Cooper (Jade).
