Golf champs hectic time for members

Members of the Waiouru Golf Club have been active around the country playing invarious tournaments with some pleasing results. The busy part of the season is upon players, with various championship titles up for grabs. The President's Team, although somewhat depleted due to people being unavailable, gained a good start by beating Rangitikei on their soil. They played again on the weekend, this

time at home. Results in next week's Bulletin. Results of the ladies' pennants match played yesterday at Waiouru will also be published in next week's edition. All golfers will be interested to know that golf will start at 11.30am on club days as of Saturday 26 March.. The next month is going to be very busy for the club with a number of upcoming events:

27 March - 'B' Grade pennants at Waiouru. 4-7 April - Inter-regional Tournament. 10 April - 'B' Grade pennants. 11-14 April - Inter-Serv-ices Tournament. 23-24 April - President' s Trophy. 24 April - Shoot Out. A plea is made to any club members who can offer assistance for the April meets: please contact Rob Tidey as soon as possible.
