Squash club licence

Ohakune Squash Club's liquor licence application was granted at a Liquor Licensing Authority hearing held in Ohakune recently. The authority states that they listened carefully to the concerns of three objectors who appeared at the hearing. Tainui Street resident Karen Bishop, Pastor John Mason of the Ruapehu Apostolic Outreach Centre and the Ruapehu District Council lodged objections. The council objected on the grounds that the club had not prepared a management plan for the sale of liquor at the club premises.
