Scouts for Raetihi?

Raetihi's Scout group is taking one last shot at survival and holding a special meeting this week (see Classifieds), to drum up support for the troop. The group has been in recess for about four years, lacking either leaders or children to join. If they can get enough support, they intend to take the Raetihi Scouts, Cubs & Keas out of recess and continue to offer children a chance to develop through a whole range of fun outdoor and indoor activities. If they can't get a troop going, they may decide to disband it altogether.
