• A holiday home in Totara Drive, Ohakune was burgled between 29 January and 5 February. A Philips TV, a Pioneer Midi system stereo, two ski jackets, a pair of ski pants, one pair of K2 skis and an alarm clock were taken. • A g arden shed in Burns Street, Ohakune, was burgled between 1 and 2 February. Taken were a blue Homelite chainsaw, Stihl line trimmer, Stihl hedgecutter and a quantity of tools. • At about 3.00am on 5 February an attempt was made to burgle a residence in Ward Street, Raetihi. An occupant of the house heard a noise and investigated and found an arm coming through the toilet window. The occupant then struck the arm and the offender fell down and ran off. • A g arden hose and attachment was taken from the yard of the Waimarino Health Care Centre, Raetihi, between 3 and 5 February. • Overnight on 6 February, three youths threw stones at the windows of several shops in the main street of Raetihi.
