Senior citizens
Rachael and Jim Lyons spoke to the Raetihi Senior Citizens at their January meeting on their recent trip to Germany. "It was lovely of them to let us enjoy their memories of their travels," said club president Eva Grossart. Cathy Dobbs also spoke to the senior citizens on what services are available to senior citizens at the Waimarino Health Centre. Afternoon tea was then served gi ving a relaxing end to the afternoon. The next get together for the senior citizens is a trip on Dempsey Buses to the Grand Chateau, on 16 February, leaving at 1pm from the usual pick up place.
