The warm dry conditions resulted in some very good scores. Town pipped the country by two matches to win the Kennedy Cup. Ladies: N. Winter, 40pts; H. Cranston, 37pts; M. Black, 37pts. Junior men: N. Black, 44pts; A. Murdie, 42pts; J. Hansen, 42 pts; G.Ennis, 40pts; J. Purcell, 40pts. Senior men: G. Imhoff, 40pts; D. Windle, 40pts. The course will be closed on Saturday 6 November and Sunday 7 November. The club will host its annual mixed foursomes tournament, to be followed by a farewell evening for Marie and Gary Allerby to which all members are invited.
