Ohakune takes the badminton hat-trick

Not since 1986 has Ohakune held all three Wanganui cups for Badminton. The last time the C Grade won the Wanganui Badminton Association Interclub trophy was in 1986. Last Thursday night four teams from Ohakune, two A Reserve, a B Grade and a

C Grade team travelled to Wanganui for the finals and came home with all three trophies. Team players were: A Reserves Ohakune 1 - Shirley Shields, Tracey McGregor, Sam Tito and Brent Nixie; Ohakune 2 - Jocelyn Cranston, Elayne Weller, Ned Wanoa and Vaughan Becker; B Grade - Donna Cranston, Eileen
