• Thieves stole several thousand dollars worth of clothing and electrical items from a Mangawhero Terrace, Ohakune, residence early last week. The occupants of the house were on holiday when the burglary occurred. • The occupant of a Willow Lane, Ohakune, residence was attacked by a ski pole-welding thief who was disturbed in the process of burglaring the
property on Friday. The offender managed to make off with several appliances including a TechnicS stereo system and Philips television. • Police are investigating a smash-and-grab at Buck's Drapery in Clyde Street, Ohakune, during the early hours of Saturday morning. Clothing to the value of $570 was taken. • Ohakune Police have
in their possession a women' s green 10-speed bicycle located at a Miro Street, Ohakune, address last week. The owner of the bicycle may collect it at the Ohakune Police Station.
