Street group needs people

A "street committee" is to be formed to help organise a street parade and decorations for the Sing Aotearoa choral festival at Labour Weekend. Mainstreet group chairperson Sue Allomes said they were seeking people keen on helping jazz up the town for the event which is expected to attract more than 1000 singers. She can be contacted on 3858 799, or at the regular Mainstreet meeting Wednesday morning.
